Earl Standard Duty 150mm Cavity Wall Lintel
Why Choose This Lintel?
You're not buying from a merchant, you're buying direct from the manufacturer.
By removing merchant markups, we're able to manufacture our lintels from 3mm thick steel while remaining competitively priced online.
Our standard duty 150mm cavity range is manufactured from 3mm thick steel, giving the lintel a rigid and robust construction compared with many lighter gauge alternatives.
Product Overview
These lintels have been designed to support cavity walls with a 100mm inner skin, 150mm - 165mm cavity width and 100mm outer skin.
It has a safe working load of 25.5kN at a 3:1 inner to outer load ratio.
The galvanised steel construction provides long-term corrosion protection, while the EPS insulation helps reduce thermal bridging across the cavity.
Our lintels are independently load tested and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 845-2:2013+A1:2016 for peace of mind and long-term durability.
Depending on production batch, lintels may be manufactured from either 3mm S275 hot-dip galvanised steel with mesh plaster key (product name 150-S) or 3mm DX51D+Z600 galvanised steel (product name 150-B). Both specifications are selected to meet the required performance standard for this lintel range.
A minimum bearing of 150mm is required at each end.
