Customers consistently highlight the excellent buildability of this lintel.  It is typically stiffer than some other manufacturers standard duty lintels, making it far less prone to twisting during installation.  The result is a faster and easier construction.

Unlike many standard duty 150mm cavity lintels from major manufacturers, which can start with just 1.8mm thick steel, this lintel is manufactured from 3mm thick steel.

From 750mm in length upwards, this lintel has the same profile and same impressive 3mm thick steel making it excellent value for money.

Overview

The 150-S is a 150mm cavity wall lintel that offers superior strength, thanks to its 3mm thick grade S275 mild steel construction. With a hot dipped galvanized finish and 25.5kN safe working load at a 3:1 inner to outer ratio, this lintel is ideal for providing structural support in cavity walls. It has also been load tested in an idependant facility and complies with BS EN 845-2:2013+A1:2016, achieving a UKCA mark and ensuring safety. With EPS insulation in its core, the Earl 150-S provides both structural support and energy efficiency for your building project.

This lintel is suitable for cavity walls with a 100mm thick inner skin, a 150mm cavity and a 100mm outer skin.  A minimum of 225mm height masonry is required before load application.

Please note, the inner skin mesh plaster key is not present between 225mm and 250mm each end.  Ensure the mesh is not present in the bearing area of the lintel.

A minimum of 150mm bearing each end is required.
